Washtenaw Community College's web site provides a variety of information for
students, staff and visitors. The web site also serves as a portal, connecting users to important online
resources, such as Blackboard and MyWCC.

Why We Don't Support IE6
Internet Explorer 6.0 was released in August 2001, more than eight years ago. That's when the Toyota Prius was just hitting the U.S. market and Friends was still on the air, and before the first iPod was available. There was no MySpace, YouTube, Flickr, or Facebook. We don't support IE 6 because it doesn't support current web standards and expending the effort needed to support it would hold back our progress in developing this website.
If you use Internet Explorer 6.0 we suggest that you upgrade to a modern web browser, such as the free Internet Explorer 8 or Mozilla Firefox. Doing so will improve your experience on the WCC website in particular, along with your experience and security on the web in general.

for their employees at WCC.
