Named for longtime music instructor and WCC Jazz Orchestra director Dr. Morris J. Lawrence, Jr., the Morris Lawrence Building routinely welcomes visitors to campus for conferences and performances at its facilities, which include the 495-seat Towsley Auditorium.

Police Academy training areas occupy the north end of the building with Performing Arts classrooms and rehearsal spaces to the south.

The western facade of the Morris Lawrence Building offers a picturesque view of campus from its glassed-in lobby.
