The disciplines of Psychology and Sociology play an important role in general education. Generally students enroll in these courses for three main reasons:
  1. They are transferable to four year colleges and universities.

  2. They meet the requirements of two year terminal programs at WCC.

  3. For general interest and personal growth.

Psychology Courses.
Sociology Courses.

Students studying Human Services at WCC will gain an understanding of the basic concepts, guiding principles and realities of contemporary human services as well as develop their helping skills and competencies through supervised services-learning experiences with community agencies.
