Opening PDFs

To view PDF documents, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer. If you do not already have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download it for free from Adobe. You can configure Adobe Acrobat Reader to work with your browser during the installation process.

Problem when using Internet Explorer 6.0.2800

Users who have Internet Explorer version 6.0.2800 may encounter a bug where the PDF appears to not open when a link on a web page is clicked. The problem is associated with Adobe Acrobat 6.0 and can be corrected by doing the following:
  • Open Adobe Acrobat 6.0
  • Go to "Preferences" in the Edit Menu
  • Go to "Internet" settings and unclick "Display PDF in browser"
  • PDF will then open without any problem
