Faculty Training
Workshops and other sessions on instructional audio-visual issues are conducted throughout the year.
Considerable emphasis is placed on classroom technologies and how best to integrate them into classroom
teaching. The department demonstrates new technologies such as: multimedia (both video and data) projectors,
document cameras and digital cameras. We encourage follow-up by faculty.
Our Training Room can be reserved by
faculty to practice and "hone their skills" before getting in front of a class. We encourage faculty to get
comfortable with technology first prior to integrating it into classroom presentations.
Media Services advertises the workshops and other sessions well in advance, giving faculty an opportunity to
plan accordingly.
To arrange for faculty training, please call Becca at 734-973-3383.
