*The application process consists of medical examination, drivers history check, fingerprints/criminal history check, psychological examination, drug test, vision and hearing tests.
Applications to the police academy are made directly to the academy director and will consist
of eligibility screening and at least two direct interviews, along with medical tests, psychological
examinations, and drug tests. No applications or packets are "picked up" or "mailed out." They are given after an in-person interview with the director.
