Thanks to all who made the 17th Annual Jerry Jernigan Memorial Golf Outing a stand-out event.
This year's golf outing could not have been better. There were more golfers and more sponsors, which together amount to more dollars raised for the students of WCC. The picture-perfect, pristine day was icing on the cake. Many thanks to all the golfers, sponsors, and volunteers who contributed generously to the outing's success. Collector's Foundation Pledges $50,000 in Celebration of the WCC Foundation's 25th Anniversary!

Funds will support scholarships for automotive students
The Collector's Foundation based in Traverse City, MI has made a $50,000 pledge to the WCC Foundation to support scholarships for students in WCC's automotive programs. The Collector's Foundation has given annual scholarships in the past, but chose to make a five-year pledge commitment because, "We believe in what WCC is doing to educate and train future automotive technicians and skilled workers for the industry and we want to help these students succeed."
 
Foundation Welcomes Four New Board Members

The WCC Foundation is pleased to announce four new additions to its board. On July 1 we welcomed Norman Herbert, Elizabeth Petoskey, Gloria Thomas, and Maria Thompson. They filled positions vacated by outgoing board members Kathleen Griffiths, Stuart White, Richard Dorner, and most recent Chair, Fred McDonald.

Meet the new members: Norman Herbert is a financial consultant, currently working with the Michigan Information Technology Center Foundation in Ann Arbor. Read more on Foundation Welcomes Four New Board Members
