Open Computer Labs
The Library Computer Commons
has both Windows and Macintosh computers. Software serving basic computing needs, such as Microsoft Office applications,
web browsing, e-mail, etc., is provided as is access to the internet.
The Commons complies with the
WCC Computing Resources Usage Policy.
Please be aware of the
Open Labs Printing Policy.
Student Computer Support and Tutoring Center (SCSTC)
The SCSTC is located on the 2nd floor of the Computer Commons. Business & Computer Technologies Lab Staff & Learning Support Services (LSS) tutors have joined to provide expanded services in one location.
The SCSTC provides both short-term and long-term computer class assistance. Computer Lab Support staff are available to answer
technical questions to support classroom instruction and practice. Staff will demonstrate examples of software packages outside of class assignments including but not limited to:
- MS Office
- C++
- Java
- Microsoft Windows
LSS tutors provide tutoring in individual or small group sessions for students who need additional assistance in understanding concepts. Students are expected to come in prepared with questions.
