Library Computer Commons

The Computer Commons features many Windows and Macintosh computers and offers a wide variety of software titles. A limited number of scanning and digital video stations are available. Lab aides are available to assist in the use of this computing environment. See the Computer Commons General Policy under Frequently Asked Questions About Computer Commons.

The Computer Commons is located on the second floor of the Gunder Myran Building and can be accessed by using the stairs from the Library or by using the public elevators located in the Gunder Myran Building. You can also reach the Computer Commons via the bridge from the Liberal Arts and Science Building. Please visit the Room Locator for a map.

WCC students, staff and faculty are welcome to use the lab during any of the open hours. The lab is also available to the general public, though priority is given to WCC use.

Also new is the Computer Tips & Tricks Workshop series at the beginning of Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer semesters. Free, basic computer tips and hints, just drop in, given in GM 230A (second floor of Gunder Myran, part of the Library). View the Computer Commons map (PDF).
