The WCC Academic Skills Department is committed to student success.
We educate and prepare students for success in future academic coursework,
job markets, transfer to four-year institutions, and lifelong learning.
We develop academic skills, personal management and study skills.
Getting into school is one thing. Staying in and succeeding is quite
another. You can do it, with classes
and support from the Academic Skills Department.
The Academic Skills Center houses a
resource library, a diagnostic testing room and learning lab with materials
to enhance comprehension, vocabulary and study skills. Students
who are enrolled in academic and study skills classes are able to
access these resources in GM 305 at convenient hours throughout
the week.
