Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association
This association includes automotive parts and accessories retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and manufacturers representatives. It conducts research seminars globally and conducts specialized education programs. The Aftermarket Insider, its bimonthly magazine and the Aftermarket Factbook are just a few of the many publications this group offers.

Automotive Engine Rebuilders Association
This network of professional engine rebuilders, builders, and installers includes wholesalers of replacement parts, equipment, tools, and services to members. It acts as a clearinghouse for automotive jobber machine shop information. Its "Ultimate Guide" provides predefined search to such categories as Chemicals/Lubricants, Parts/Components, Rebuild Types, Tools/Equipment, and Installation Facilities. ASE certified master machinists will give free information to AERA members' tough technical questions. Shoptalk is its official monthly publication.

Automotive Recyclers Association
Since 1943, this nonprofit organization has been associated with the efficient removal and reuse of automotive parts and the safe disposal of inoperable motor vehicles. Although sometimes know as salvage dealers, these professionals recycle domestic and foreign automobiles, light and heavy-duty trucks, buses, and motorcycles.

Motorcycle Industry Council
This is a not-for-profit, national association created to preserve and promote motorcycling in the U.S. MIC downloads include its statistical annual and model test RPM data. Links lead to V Twin site specifically for this industry, dealer resources, dirtbike school, ATV safety course information, and a member directory containing profiles on over 250 MIC member companies.

Harley Hummer Club
This is a virtual motorcycle club requiring no membership or dues. It is devoted exclusively to the restoration of the American-made two-stroke Harley-Davidson motorcycles made between 1948 and 1966. It publishes the Hummer News, a bimonthly newsletter. A history section chronicles the evolution of the Hummer and the life of its namesake, Dean Hummer.

Antique Motorcycle Club of America
Individuals interested in collecting and restoring antique motorcycles belong to this club to ride, exhibit, and enjoy their motorcycles. All makes are welcome, thirty-five years or older. The club's quarterly magazine provides technical assistance, Meet/Road ride event information, and assistance searching for the authenticity of many models of antique motorcycles. The "Blood, Sweat, and Gears" column troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems. Forums offer restoration and technical discussions on many makes and models.

National Auto Body Council
The NABC founded in 1994 has over 400 members from the collision repair industry. It seeks to promote professionalism and increase consumer confidence. It publishes the Good News, a newsletter for repairers and consumers on issues such eliminating fraud and finding a quality collision repair facility.

Specialty Vehicle Institute of America
This is a trade association representing distributors of all-terrain vehicles. It fosters the safe and responsible use of ATVs through public education and information. It offers an ATV Safety Institute for operator training.

Automotive Service Association
The ASA was founded in 1951 with members in the service businesses such as body paint and trim, engine rebuilders, radiator shops, brake and wheel alignment, transmission and tune-up shops, and air conditioning services. It publishes AutoInc, a monthly journal covering technical and management information for its members.

Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association
This organization promotes ethical and effective practice of automotive repair and maintenance. It works to improve relations between automotive owners and service providers and facilitate communication between its members and government entities responsible for regulation of service procedures. It conducts research and education programs. It accredits repair shops that aspire to its high standards.

Automotive Body Association
Represents the interests of distributors, suppliers and manufacturers of independently produced parts such as bumpers, fenders, hoods, lights, doors, radiators, etc. It is involved in the recycling of both steel bumpers and urethane and rubber bumper fascias. Collision Parts Journal provides information for industry and insurance companies on collision parts, their availability, and suppliers.

National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence
Founded in 1972 this group has more than 400,000 members governed by a 40-member board of directors selected from all sectors of the automotive service industry. It encourages the highest standards of service to the public through continuing research to determine how best to train automotive technicians. It tests and certifies the competence of automobile, medium/heavy truck collision repair, school bus and engine machinist technicians and parts specialists.

Society of Collision Repair Specialists
This society is committed to the future of collision repair with a goal to educate, inform and represent the collision repair professional. It distributes management and technical information, maintains industry standards, and works to promote professionalism throughout the industry. Its members include representatives from business associations, owners and managers of auto collision repair shops, and suppliers.
