American Lung Association
Helpful fact sheets on all aspects of smoking and secondhand smoking, as well as the annual American Lung Association State of Tobacco Control report, which tracks progress on key tobacco control policies at the state and federal level.

ANR: Americans for Nonsmokers Rights
This non-profit organization gives numerous facts on the dangers of secondhand smoke as well as supplying smokefree ordinance lists. These lists include maps of smokefree cities and states, an overview of all the smokefree laws, and lists of municipalities with 100% smokefree workplaces, restaurants, and/or bars.

Cancer Facts: Questions and Answers About Cigar Smoking and Cancer
This fact sheet put out by the National Cancer Institute offers quick information on the health hazards of cigar smoking and compares the health hazards of cigar smoking versus cigarette smoking.

FindLaw: Legal News and Commentary
FindLaw is "the highest-trafficked legal Web site, providing the most comprehensive set of legal resources on the Internet." Its coverage of tobacco litigation is particularly comprehensive, giving the searcher news articles, actual court documents, and links to related sites on tobacco litigation. (Note: this website covers many topics in addition to tobacco litigation.)

Medline Plus: Smoking
A service of the US National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health, this is a good starting point for anyone seeking up-to-date information on smoking.

Smoking & Tobacco Use
Dedicated to "...eliminating the suffering and death due to cancer" this site has links to common cancer types as well as information on surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, and vaccine therapy. Clinical Trials provide information on trial results and allows you to search for treatments and trials within your geographic location. Literature links allow you to search cancer research in the PubMed database of the National Library of Medicine.
