How To Enroll
Each semester after you enroll at the College for your
classes, bring your schedule to the Children's Center and complete a childcare
enrollment packet for your child. When all forms are completed and returned
to the Children's Center office, a space will be reserved for your child.
All spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis each semester,
so register early to reserve a space.
Childcare for all clients is provided ONLY while the
parent is on campus or has an internship, coop-placement, field trip,
clinical or staff conference off campus. All Children's Center enrollment
must be for the complete semester, from the first week you enroll through
the last day of the semester.
The Children's Centers hours of operation are
7:30 a.m through 5:30 p.m Monday through Friday.
There will be NO subtraction of costs for days
missed due to illness, personal business or the occasional cancellation
of class. This cannot be done since the child's place is saved and the
Center overhead cost Staff, facilities) remain the same.
If the child is absent, time cannot be exchanged
for additional time on another day. Since the Center enrollment is a semester,
not a weekly commitment, fees will not be decreased due to drops or schedule
changes after the last fees dates each semester.
Anyone wishing to enroll their child at the Center must have the following before any service is provided:
- A WCC identification card to prove who they are
- WCC students must provide a copy of their class registration
All forms must be filled out entirely in order to enroll the child. If anything is missing, the parent must take the forms and bring them back filled out. No child will be enrolled until all paperwork is received in the office with the exception of the green health form, which is due the first day the child starts.
Any new parent who will not be attending the in-person parent orientation must be signed up for the online orientation. Parents will need a current activated blackboard account in order to do so.
Student Child Care Fees:
Student rate for any age child is $3.00 per hour
Staff rate for any age child is $4.00 per hour
Registration Fee (non-refundable) : This fee is to be paid by the
client: $10.00 per family each semester - Fall, Winter, Spring/Summer
Discounts:
Full time students and staff: A 10% discount will be given for
all children using the Center for 30 or more hours per week
Siblings: Second and third children of the same family will be
charged individually at a rate which is a 15% discount from the rate appropriate
for their age.
