Colorful and exciting, Cogswell's work originates in the figure; by the time the piece is completed the figure has merged into an abstract design.

At the Crossroads
March 5 - April 27
The third artist in Gallery One's series on installation art, Ann Savageau raises issues surrounding environmental destruction with her provocative piece created from found objects. Savageau says: "All of us are deeply implicated in global warming and the environmental destruction that accelerates every year. As we go about our daily lives, our choices have global consequences that we may not even realize. This installation is my attempt to make a difference by raising awareness of these vital issues."
