Jim Cogswell: Meanwhile
Colorful and exciting, Cogswell's work originates in the figure; by the time the piece is completed the figure has merged into an abstract design.

Lineal Silver
May 14 - June 29
The fourth artist in Gallery One's series on installation art, Linda Hutchins uses ordinary materials, such as caution tape or lines of type, in extraordinary ways. Drawing directly on the wall with her grandmother's silver spoons, Hutchins links the physical line with the metaphorical lineage of ancestry, and the repetition of the drawn line with the repetition of generations.
