Chair Massage Chair massage is a way to experience the benefits of stress reduction and muscle tension relief during the work day here at WCC. Fifteen or thirty minute sessions take place in a portable massage chair, designed for your comfort and support. Massages are given by a certified practitioner while you, the client, remain fully clothed. Massage benefits include increased circulation, relaxation and the reduction of muscle spasm and pain. By signing up for a session, you the client, give consent for the application of basic therapeutic massage for health and wellness. Massage is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, care or treatment. Any medical conditions must be brought to the therapists' attention before the session. It is the discretion of the practitioner to identify if a caution/contraindication exists and what adjustments must be made in the massage. It is the client's responsibility to keep the practitioner informed of any changes in health status. Therapists are trained to work the areas of head, shoulders, neck, back, arms, hands, legs and feet. The cost is $5 per 15 minute and $10 per 30 minute session, which is payable at the time of the massage. This service is provided for WCC employees only.
