Washtenaw Community College

The softball club had an exciting fall season opener, scoring 41 runs in their first doubleheader. This was a record for a WCC co-ed softball team. Terry Rickard has served 5 years as the softball coach. Retired geology professor, Dave Thomas continues to help the team as coach and pitcher. Sheila Gillies earned the first-base position with her outstanding skill and ability to stretch. Garrett Kuhn took over at shortstop (and also played baseball).

Other softball players included Jason Bauerle, Courtney Christopher, Mike Davis, John DeWitt, Billy Doyle, Jenniffer Gamache, Julie Gebhardt, Shawn Heiler, Jennifer Lenart, Brittany Moore, Rick Perteet, Dave Pieske, Terrence Pittman, Heather Rickard and Rob Tobin.
