Your name didn't have to start with J to play on the fall baseball team, but it might have helped. There were times when the following showed up one after another in the line-up: John Burr, John Engelbert (Jr.), Joel Fry, Jon Jeffrey, Justin Mortensen, Jacob Pieske, and Jason Stafne. The rest of the team (non-J players) included: Dave Boyer, Ryan Breece, Matt Charles, Matt Fraser, Garrett Kuhn, Andrew Loy, Carl Miller, Micheal Raland, Keith Smiley, Alex Tolley and Kyle Turgeon. Terry Rickard has been coaching baseball at WCC for five years.

The baseball team wrapped up fall ball with a 13-3 victory, enjoying the cool and wet weather on the last day. Kyle Turgeon went 3 for 3 plus a sacrifice. Carl Miller also went 3 for 3 plus got one on an error. Matt Fraser, Jason Stafne and Jon Jeffrey combined their pitching talents on that soggy day with Joel Fry catching the whole game. Kyle declared, "It's a great way to end the season." Coach Glass said, "It was a very enjoyable fall baseball season. The kids did a great job!"
