The men’s hockey program is off to a good start in a very competitive B league at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube. Under coaches Dan Midura and Jim Teevens, the players are playing solid defense and are learning to skate with new players that have been added to this year’s team. The current record through the end of the fall semester was 11-12-1. The team will also play Jackson Community College on January 18, 2008 at 9:30pm at the Optimist Arena in Jackson, Michigan. This will be a check hockey game and WCC will be trying to avenge a heart-breaking 5-4 defeat to Jackson in November. Jackson scored with 5 seconds left to win that thriller! The players are looking forward to that rematch this month.
