The Edge » A Satisfying Supply of Summer Sports
Not only does Club Sports have a Baseball, Coed Softball, Golf and Cross Country team this summer, but there are also two Soccer teams and three Sand Volleyball Teams.
New this season, WCC Club Soccer has joined SEMPSL (South East Michigan Premier Soccer League). So far, their record is 2-3.

The other Soccer team is Coed and they play indoors at Wide World Sports Center in Ann Arbor. The 8-week season is near its end and the team has done well with a 5-2 record.
WCC also has three Coed Quad teams playing in Ann Arbor Rec & Ed's Sand Volleyball league. It is still early in the June-July season, but so far all the participants are thrilled to be playing and having a lot of fun. "It's hard for some of the players to make the transition from indoor," says Sandy Bushey, "but I love playing outside with the sand under my feet." The Blue and Green teams play on Wednesdays and the Gold team plays on Sundays. All games take place at Slauson Middle School in Ann Arbor.
