Admissions: All Non-F-1 Visa International Students

Non-F-1 Visa International students range from permanent resident aliens to a visitor on any visa from an A visa to a V visa, including refugees and people with asylum. Find the category that best applies to you and follow the application procedures noted.

Permanent Resident Alien Status

Permanent resident aliens (green-card holders) who wish to attend WCC are unrestricted in the number of credit hours for which they may register. To apply to WCC:
  • Complete the online application for admission.
  • Submit a copy of your Permanent Resident Alien Card (front and back).
  • Submit a copy of your driver's license or State Identification showing where you currently reside.
  • Complete WCC Orientation and Placement Testing.
Refugee or Political Asylum Status

International students who possess refugee status or political asylum in the United States who wish to attend WCC are unrestricted in the number of credit hours for which they may register. To apply to WCC:
  • Complete the online application for admission.
  • Submit a copy of your passport.
  • Submit appropriate documentation showing your status.
  • Submit a driver's license or state identification to show where you currently reside.
  • Complete WCC Orientation and Placement Testing.
Non-Immigrant Status

Students with non-immigrant status (specifically those with B1, B2 or F2 status) should first apply and receive a student visa if they are planning to pursue a course of study. B1, B2, or F2 visas allow students to take only an occasional class for recreation.

Other Visa Status

To apply to WCC:
  • Complete the online application for admission.
  • Submit a copy of your passport.
  • Submit a copy of your I-94 card.
  • Submit a copy of the visa that you currently hold.
  • Complete WCC Orientation and Placement Testing.
