Stafford Loans (for students), and
PLUS Loans (for parents).
You may apply for Financial Aid for the 2010-2011 Academic year starting January 1, 2010.
The earlier you apply, the more likely your application will be approved in time for registration.
Applying for financial aid requires the following steps:
- Check the Qualifying Requirements to see if you qualify for financial aid.
- Take note of WCC's Federal School Code: 002328
- Fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- If you have not yet done so, fill out an Online Application for Admission and Readmission to WCC.
- Activate your WCC email account so you can receive important information that WCC will send to you via this account. You must be admitted to WCC before you can do so.
- Log in to MyWCC to determine if you must submit any additional documentation and to check the status of your Financial Aid.
- Check the web pages for the types of aid for which you are applying to see if there are additional application requirements:
Grants,
Scholarships,
Work Study,
Stafford Loans (for students), and
PLUS Loans (for parents).
After you submit your completed Financial Aid application the federal processing center evaluates your eligibility and sends the information electronically to WCC.
