Financial Aid Attention Financial Aid Applicants WCC has implemented a late application policy for students applying for financial aid. What you need to know: You must apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by November 20, 2009 to ensure WCC receives your completed application from the Department of Education by December 11, 2009. The deadline for WCC to receive your financial aid application from the Department of Education for the start of the Winter 2010 semester is December 11, 2009. In order to be awarded financial aid all documents requested by the Financial Aid Office must be submitted. The Financial Aid Office will begin processing late applications after January 19, 2010. These applications will be processed in the order they were received. What this means to late applicants: You will need to make payment arrangements or your classes will be dropped. You will need to pay for books and supplies out of pocket. You will not receive a refund check on January 25, 2009. You can still be awarded financial aid for Winter 2010. Your award letter and any verification of award information will be delayed. Paying Tuition You should have your financial aid finalized (required documents turned in and processed) by the payment deadline to keep your seat. See the Paying Tuition website for deadlines.
