Emeritus Scholarship
If you:
- Have In-District residency status per the WCC residency policy.
- Will be 65 years old as of the first day of the semester for which you want the Scholarship (see the Academic Calendar).
- Enroll in a class that starts on or after the first day of the semester for which you want the Scholarship (see the Academic Calendar).
- Make sure the Student Connection has your date of birth before the
payment deadline.
WCC will apply the Scholarship to your tuition, contact hour fee, and the
technology enrollment fee for credit classes (unless the class fills) and to your tuition for in-person noncredit classes. Class fees not listed here must be paid by the student.
Credit Classes
If the class in which you enroll fills, WCC may call you to tell you that:
- You can stay in the class if you pay the tuition.
OR
- You can be put on a waitlist. If a space opens, then you will get the Emeritus scholarship.
Non Credit Classes
The Emeritus scholarship does not apply to mandatory fees.
