Registration Holds

A hold is an academic or financial obligation on your record that prevents you from registering for classes.

You can check online to see if you have any holds by logging into MyWCC.

If you are a continuing or readmitting student and are on any kind of hold, you must have the hold released before you will be allowed to register. Below is a list of holds and the offices that can release them. If you have questions about these holds, please contact the offices listed.

Have an office listed at left help you develop or update a success plan for your academic career. Students in Academic Caution status may take only 12.5 credit hours and those in Academic Warning status may take only 8.5 credit hours.

Academic Suspension

Unless the student submits a successful appeal to the Suspension Appeals Committee (SAC) by the specified deadline, the student will not be able to take classes for one semester or one year, depending on whether the student has been suspended previously. Suspended students can still take Spring/Summer classes.

You are under age 18 and must submit the Minor Student Enrollment Parental
Consent Form each semester before you can register. Go to www.wccnet.edu/forms

WCC Counselor must authorize your registration each semester, and you must also submit a Dual Enrollment Consent Form to Admissions each semester. Go to

Personally present current government-issued photo identification to Enrollment Services.

Invalid Address

Student Connection

Log into MyWCC and change your address online or provide your new address to Student Connection.

Library

Library

You have overdue materials on loan or an outstanding fee. Resolve with Library.

NDSL Fin Aid Hold

Financial Aid

You have an outstanding student loan balance to resolve.

ReAdmit

Admissions

You have not been enrolled in credit classes in 2 years. Fill out readmission application online at least 2 business days prior to the registration deadline for your particular session.
